Our Governance Structure
JBS is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Citadel Group Limited (CGL), which is a family of businesses sharing a common commitment to delivering the highest value products and services to their customers. This is achieved by providing seamless access to a comprehensive range of services and products from the companies within the Group. CGL is proud to be a 100% Australian-owned and staff-run group of companies.
The JBS senior management team is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company, whilst the CGL Board:
- Is established to govern: the Board addresses the “ends” and delegates the “means” to achieve those ends to the management group;
- Looks to the future: the Board devotes the majority of its time to considering the future and providing strategic leadership;
- Is ultimately responsible to shareholders for the management and performance of JBS; and,
- Supports and maintains a culture of good governance, performance, accountability and communication within JBS.
